Children are naturally curious little scientists. We use STEAM to provide opportunities for children to explore, investigate, and discover their world, while learning to problem solve and create their own theories.
We believe that nature plays an indispensable role in the development of young children. By heading outside (or bringing it inside) and learning with nature, kids improve their emotional, social, intellectual, gross motor skills and behavioral development. Outdoor learning helps foster the development of creativity, problem-solving, independence, and confidence.
Experts say that outdoor learning is very beneficial to children because it makes them healthier and happier, and they do better academically.
We believe that combining both STEAM and nature/environmental education will give children an excellent foundation for their development, education and life skills.

We have created an atmosphere where children ask questions, explore, discover, and appreciate their natural world using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.

Our unique nature-based and STEAM curriculum uses influences from early childhood philosophies such as Reggio, Montessori, and Waldorf to cultivate rich learning experiences for each individual child. We do this through child inspired interests, and teacher facilitated activities.
STEAM is an educational application to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
Nature-based early childhood education is a distinct approach to education which combines early childhood and environmental education.
Integrating preschoolers with these experiences prompt children’s natural curiosity and interest in the world around them. This helps them grow in their desire to better understand the world and their place in it.
We also combine a careful balance of academic approaches, and hands on learning with animal husbandry, horticulture, foraging, and projects using STEAM.
Our curriculum is also supported with engaging relevant songs, and books. We strive to foster creative ways to learn all about letters and numbers so children can embrace the joys of learning and build upon that knowledge.
Our goal is to provide a fun safe learning environment that prepares them emotionally, developmentally, and academically in kindergarten and beyond.
